Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 August 2026
These Terms govern your use of the Ailem Yanımda mobile app (ElderLink in international stores) and elderlink.biz. By downloading, creating an account, or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Purpose and limits
ElderLink is a digital assistant for care plans, daily wellbeing updates, and family connection. It is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or treatment service. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, dosage, or treatment decisions. A plan acknowledgement does not prove that medicine was taken or a task completed.
2. Emergencies and safety
The app is not an emergency call, ambulance, fall detection, or continuous monitoring service. It does not automatically call 112 and does not guarantee emergency response. In an emergency, call the official emergency number where you are.
3. Accounts, households and pairing
You must be at least 18 and legally capable to create an independent account or purchase Premium. A person under 18 may use the app only with a parent or legal guardian’s knowledge and supervision. Users must provide accurate information, protect account access, and select household members carefully. Share pairing codes and invitations only with trusted people.
4. Acceptable use
Use the app only lawfully. Do not access another person’s account or data without permission, misuse invitations, copy or reverse-engineer the service, harm its infrastructure, or send unlawful, threatening, or rights-violating content.
5. Plans, notifications and device conditions
Users choose plan names, times, and content. Notifications depend on the network, device permissions, operating system, battery settings, and app state. We do not guarantee exact-time delivery, silent-mode operation, or physical completion of a plan.
6. Location sharing
Location sharing is a one-time action explicitly started by the parent. The latest location is shown to approved household members for up to 15 minutes; there is no continuous background tracking, location history, or emergency monitoring. The parent can stop sharing at any time.
7. Subscriptions, payments and withdrawal rights
Premium subscriptions are purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices, currency, taxes, renewals, cancellations and refunds appear at purchase and are governed by the relevant store. Payment details are processed by the store; manage or cancel the subscription separately in Apple or Google account settings. If a digital service begins immediately at your explicit request, applicable consumer-law exceptions to withdrawal rights and the store refund policy may apply. This clause does not remove mandatory consumer rights.
8. Intellectual property
The ElderLink name, logo, design, software, text and content belong to ElderLink or its licensors. These Terms grant limited personal use and do not transfer ownership.
9. User content and providers
Users are responsible for the accuracy of plans, notes and wellbeing entries. We process them under the Privacy Policy to operate the service, share information within the household, and provide selected features. Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple App Store, Google Play and other providers may have their own terms.
10. Suspension and deletion
We may restrict or end an account, household, or feature for security, misuse, legal reasons, or extended technical problems. Users may delete their account and household data at /delete-account/. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel a store subscription.
11. Availability and liability
We provide the service with reasonable care but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation or identical behavior on every device. Mandatory consumer, data-protection, and other rights remain unaffected. Nothing excludes liability for intent, gross negligence, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. The app must not be used alone for emergencies or life safety.
12. Force majeure
For delays or non-performance caused by events outside reasonable control, including disasters, epidemics, war, legal changes, or general outages at Firebase, RevenueCat, Apple, Google, or similar providers, responsibility may be delayed to the extent affected by the event.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Turkish law. Mandatory consumer and data-protection rules apply. In 2026, consumer disputes below TRY 186,000 may be submitted to a provincial or district Consumer Arbitration Committee; the threshold may change annually. This clause does not restrict mandatory court rights or require arbitration.
14. Changes
For important changes, we update the date and may notify you through the app or website. We will give reasonable notice before important changes such as price increases take effect.
15. Contact
For support and usage questions, email support@elderlink.biz. This is not an emergency channel.
